Elevate your heroes. Engage your audience. Empower your brand.
In a world flooded with content, even powerful missions struggle to stand out. Campaigns blur. Momentum fades. Audiences scroll.
Big World Motion helps global organizations, impact brands, and media partners capture attention, emotion, and trust through cinematic, character-driven documentary film.
We don’t make program videos. We craft stories with a face, a voice, and a heartbeat. Stories that move beyond awareness to spark empathy, action, and lasting engagement.
Let’s make your story impossible to ignore.
Is your story cutting through or getting lost in the noise?
Our Services
-
Our process begins with deeply immersing ourselves in your mission, working closely with your communications, fundraising, advocacy, and program teams to uncover the human narrative at its heart. By focusing on character, we translate complex challenges into personal, relatable stories that resonate with audiences, spark empathy, and create lasting emotional connections.
-
From development through post-production, we create flagship documentaries that combine cinematic craft with emotional depth. These are films built to inspire empathy, earn credibility, and mobilize action — whether viewed online, at festival screenings, in donor gatherings, or at global summits.
-
A single film is just the beginning. We expand each production into a library of content — social cutdowns, behind-the-scenes stories, cultural highlights, and advocacy reels — tailored to different platforms so your message continues to resonate long after the premiere.
-
Our approach seeks to align content with your organization's short-term and long-term goals. By connecting with your vision, we help create stories that meet current objectives and set the stage for future impact, ensuring your message remains powerful and enduring.

Featured Projects
Messania’s Story
While working with World Vision in tackling the urgent issue of Female Genital Mutilation in East Africa, instead of centering the organization, we proposed a story told through the eyes of an elderly survivor, drawing on her childhood memories.
This character-driven approach struck a deep chord with audiences, earning grand prize at the Oscar-qualifying Rhode Island Film Festival and becoming an official contender for the Academy Award for Short Documentary Subject.
With multiple screenings before U.S. Congress and at donor gatherings, Messania’s Story helped raise over $30 million toward efforts to eradicate FGM in East Africa.

One of our notable projects was partnering with A Kids Co. — a critically acclaimed children's media company — to create a video series for adolescents (age 10-15) focused on careers, skills, and values.
With our team, we developed the series format and collaborated with teachers to shape each classes curriculum, producing over ten hours of content designed for distribution through the A Kids Co. app and in schools, inspiring the next generation of makers, doers, and dreamers.
A Kids Class About
Two Worlds
We partnered with a global humanitarian organization to create a short documentary that invited viewers into the lived experience of Native identity, spirituality, and belonging.
Through the childhood memories of one woman, the film explores her journey of rediscovering faith — finding a renewed sense of identity in Jesus Christ that ultimately deepened her connection to her Native heritage.
The film was created for a national gathering of pastors and faith leaders, sparking dialogue and empathy around cultural identity and spiritual reconciliation within Indigenous communities.
Dream it. Make it.
